Miranda leaves the townhouse. Andy is still taken aback, but the twins don’t let her think about her feelings. Instead they take her hand and drag her to the playing room, where there are a playstation 3, a Nintendo Wii, an Xbox, and a karaoke.
As always, she kicks ass at boxing and loses at tennis, but that’s okay. Caroline and Cassidy are good company. They decide to watch Mean Girls, drink Coke and eat popcorn. As expected, the three of them fall asleep on the couch.
Andy doesn’t know it yet, but she has a crush on Miranda Priestly.

Miranda wakes Andy up. It only takes a second for her to realize she shouldn’t be asleep in the townhouse, she should have put the girls to bed, her friend must be thinking she’s irresponsible – wait: she’s actually smiling and whispering to Andy take Caroline as she takes Cassidy to their room. Does that mean she’s not upset? That’s not possible, Andy thinks groggily as she does what she’s told.
Miranda kisses her daughters’ forehead and tucks them in. Andy tries to call a cab, but Miranda won’t let her. It’s almost 3am and it wouldn’t be safe, she says.

That night she dreams of Miranda. Miranda in stilettos, Miranda in stockings, Miranda in that black dress, Miranda with wet hair wrapped in a towel, Miranda’s scent. They’re surreal and intoxicating; Andy wakes up at 7am feeling rather turned on.
This can’t be happening. No, sir. She gets up and notices some fresh clothes hanging. She decides to take a shower and go home, where hopefully the situation will seem a lot clearer.
She’s straight, for God’s sake! She hasn’t slept with or dated any women. She hasn’t even felt attracted to any them before; it doesn’t make any sense.

The breakfast table is set, it’s a Sunday morning, and Andy ends up eating with the Priestly family. Miranda has taken the morning off to be with the twins, so she’s wearing a simple skirt and a blouse, with the make-up to a minimum. She’s still gorgeous.
Andy does her best to be charming, and the conversation flows easily. The twins are always so giggly! She manages to go home at 10, and invites Lily to lunch. She knows her best friend loves to talk, and that shall keep those erotic thoughts out of her mind for a while.
